This is the "Celtic Cross" Lyre, made from select woods. The bridge is carved from part of the piano.  This Lyre is framed with  up-cycled  hard wood taken from a 100 year old piano.  13 strings offer a wider range of sound. This instrument has excellent sound quality and resonance. The body measures  20.75" tall, 6.5" across the base, and 12" across the top. It measures 2" thick. The Celtic Cross is wood burned with parts cut out to form the sound holes. We have provided a place to clip on an electric pick-up on the back of the Lyre. The tuning we choose is 432hz, to enhance peace and healing. Should you wish to change the tuning to play along with pre-recorded music, a tuning key is included.   Any imperfections in the wood are due to the construction of the piano and do not effect the playability or beauty of the Lyre.
